About the Artists

Kim Hardy holds music degrees from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music and Ithaca College. She plays with the Burlington Civic Symphony Orchestra, Montpelier Chamber Orchestra, Vermont Philharmonic Orchestra, Green Mountain Mahler Festival Orchestra, and occasionally the Hinesburg Artist Series Orchestra. Before moving to Vermont she played with ensembles in Upstate New York and Metrowest Boston. Having retired at the end of 2025 from her “day job,” she is happily returning more fully to her musical roots.

Fran Pepperman Taylor is an adjunct in Fine Arts/Music at St. Michael's College, and concertmaster of the Burlington Civic Symphony Orchestra. She plays in the orchestra for the Lyric Theatre, for the Hinesburg Artist Series, and chamber music for numerous weddings. She teaches violin and viola in her home studio in Colchester.
